Events & Retreats: Trails of Hope, Courage, and Resilience
Events That Help You Brave the Trail of Life
Outdoor experiences, campfire conversations, and story rich teaching to help women face life’s roadblocks with courage, resilience, and hope.
Life is an odyssey! It's full of winding trails, steep climbs, unexpected storms, and breathtaking views. At Odyssey of a Ragamuffin, I create event experiences that help women navigate those trails with honesty and hope. Through a blend of storytelling, faith, and hands on outdoor learning, I invite women to step away from the noise, breathe deep, and discover that they are not alone on the journey.
Where Storytelling Meets the Great Outdoors
Some lessons are learned in a classroom. Others are whispered by wind through the trees, waves against the shore, and the crackle of a campfire.
My events blend faith, raw storytelling, and outdoor adventure to help women:
Face the hard parts of their story without shame
Build courage to “do it scared”
Learn practical skills that mirror inner growth
Experience God’s presence in both the quiet and the wild places
From church retreats to weekends enjoying outdoor adventures, each experience is designed to help women overcome life’s roadblocks and step into their next season with a steadier heart.
Faith and Outdoor Adventure Transformational Learning
These events are more than sessions and sermons, they’re basic immersive, hands-on experiences that turn the outdoors into a living parable.

Core Themes & Messages
Messages Woven Through Every Event
Every event, whether indoors, outdoors, or a mix of both, carries these heartbeats:
Hope in Hard Seasons
Discovering that God doesn’t wait for us at the finish line. He walks with us in the valley, the storm, and the unknown.
Courage to Do It Scared
From standing on the edge of a mountain to stepping into a new calling, we talk about what it looks like to move forward even when our knees are shaking.
Beauty in Brokenness
Like wildflowers pushing through rocky ground, our broken places can become where God’s glory shines brightest.
Resilience for the Long Journey
Learning how to keep going when nothing feels easy, and how to build rhythms of rest, honesty, and grace.
Purpose & Identity
Helping women remember who they are, whose they are, and what unique role they play in God’s story.
